Ayurveda is the traditional system of Indian medicine, Ayurveda means 'Science of Life'. This course aims to introduce the ideas of ayurveda as well as teach the methods of massage treatments. The course includes: Ayurveda history; the 5 element theory; the 3 dosha types; client consultation and body constitution; marma points; the use of Ayurveda oils, contra-indications and contra-actions; recommendations of healthy eating based on clients constitution; how to cleanse, tone, apply a mask, and perform the facial massage routine.
